Emu 1616m problem

Hi all! I have a little problem. I have been recording some songs with Emu 1616m and Nuendo 3 untill I disconnected my laptop and took it to another place. I installed some games on, then uninstalled them. So when I brought my laptop back home and hooked it up exactly how it was before, as I'm opening Nuendo the "Pending connections" window pops up. And no matter how long I wait id doesn't want to establish connection with Emu. It's not recording and plays only thru laptop speakers. Can somebody tell me what the problem is? Thanks

Sounds like something "trashed" the driver or Patchmix. Do you have the little EMU icon in the systray? If so, right-click on it and choose "Restore Defaults...". A re-boot will be needed. If that doesn't work, you may have to try an un-install/re-install, and see if that does the trick.
