Hello

First of all, I declare I'm a newbie in audio computing.

My question : which soundcard and hardware may I buy for recording vinyl LP on my PC and then restoring the numerised tracks ?

Thanx in advance

HUXLEY

P-S: pardon my english

A good bet would be something like the Midiman/M-Audio Audiophile 2496 or an ESI Waveterminal 192X and a turntable preamp (Terratec and Vestax have ones available, I believe...).

Cost you all of about $225-$275. I'm assuming you have software? If not, there are decent free/shareware ones out there (Cool Edit 2000 comes to mind..).

The Audiophile is 149 in guitar center.

And it comes with software so you are not going to need to buy anything else.
