Hello everyone... First post here!

I will try to keep it as non confusing as possible... I have been using a pc audio setup consisting of two desktop speakers, and one awesome subwoofer. They all came together when I bought them. Well... Yesterday one of the desktop speakers died so I went out and grabbed a really nice sounding pair to replace them. Here's my situation........

The way my old setup ran was the subwoofer box had three plugin spots on the back of it's box. 1 "DC", 1 "Audio out", and 1 "Audio in". I already know the "DC" spot was power... Both desktop speakers were attached to a single plugin tip, and inserted into the subwoofer box "Audio out" spot. There was also a wire coming from the desktop right speaker that was inserted into the subwoofer box "Audio in" spot. I'm guessing that sent sound signal to the subwoofer.

Currently my new desktop speakers are plugged into my PC's "Audio out" so I can get sound. They also have a power cord to power them because they are amplified. Now... I would very much like to continue using my subwoofer with my new desktop speakers! How can I do this? Adapter or something possibly?

run a stereo line from your pc'sound card to the sub's "audio in" then plug in your new speakers to the "audio out" on the back of your sub.

i would think this should work.

if not, supply a good picture of what the inputs look like

I'm wondering how the sound system was hooked up to the PC with the old speakers!
