Hello,
I recently purchase a firepod and was excited to hook it up as I already had Reaktor. Since then, I have been trying to figure out how to record the audio coming from the VST instruments in cubase le. I assumed I could route the output from reaktor into an audio track's input, but I have not yet figured out how to do that. Then it occurred to me to route the audio through bus 2, and patch it back in to inputs 1 and 2 using balanced trs cable. When I went back to guitar center to pick up the cable, I spoke with my salesman and he said I should be able to do it internally, without need for the cable as I first thought. I have searched the manual, the presonus website and forum, and this forum with no luck so far. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Zero

Solo your MIDI track and your instrument track in the mixer window and go to File>export Audio mixdown. Make sure to set your markers at the beginning and end of the section. There is no bus mixing in Cubase LE.
