ExpressCard Adapter- PCMCIA Adapter..RME multiface 1

Hi, after my laptop broke, I was able to purchase a PCmCIA to PCI card adapter to use my RME Multiface on my desktop computer... very happy about that. i now want to purcase a new Laptop.... Maybe one without PCMCIA?? technology old???

Does anyone know if the new... Express Card adapter to PCMCIA works for the RME Multiface.. Hammerfall DSP????

I love this sound card to death, I hope it can work?? I have a feeling that the dual core processors may not make it possible??

I was in the same boat. I have 4 UAD-1 cards in a cutdown Magma 4-slot hooked up to my laptop via a PCMCIIA card. Last week I decide to get a new laptop. After much seraching and number crunching, I ended up with a Dell Latitude D820. Financed directly from Dell.
It's big advantage is, it has both PCMCIA and Expresscard options.
It should be in this week.
