Quiet laptop Silent laptop

hi I'm looking at getting a new lappy as my old one just died at the worst moment when i need it to record lots of stuff... anyway, i'd like to get a really quiet machine after having a noisy beast for the last years. And ideally i'd like to record acoustics and vocals etc in the same room as the lappy, i know i could take it into another room sometimes, but there are times when i won't have that option so i really need to get a machine that's as quiet as possible. Anyone with any info on quiet laptops would be greatly appreciated. something where the fan stays quiet even when running full would be ideal.

so basic specs i'm looking for are something with a dual core.
15" - 17" a resolution of 1440 x 900 or higher.

My Sony 13.3" Core 2 Duo is almost silent, it even has an option to run the internal fan at a lower rpm, making it even quieter.

Sony tends to be expensive though....

I've ordered a Dell latitude D820, which should be in this week.
I'll let you know how quite it is.
