Fellow audiophiles,
I have recently joined forces with a singer who has a DA88 - mixer - CD burner based system. My system is entirely computer and software (Cool Edit Pro and plug ins.)
We are trying to find a way that I can record all the instruments at my studio and burn a stereo file to CD - then have him take the CD and add vocals to one or both tracks with his DA88.He recently bought the unit and is unfamiliar with many features.
I was hoping perhaps someone knew of a similar situation and could describe how to do this.
Or maybe instead of burning a stereo mixdown, I should keep all the tracks (maximum of 8 on a DA88)seperate for him to work with.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Guitardog
