Ok, so when I use two firepods strung together on a firewire there is popping, usually on the second firepod. I have hooked both firepods up individually and had no popping. I am using a HP Pavillion 2.0 GHz processor with 1 GB memory. I am connecting the laptop 4 pin firewire to the 6 pin firepod and linking it to another firepod with a 6-6 pin cable. I have also tried recording on a Mac Mini 1.33 GHz processor and 1 GB memory using a 6-6 pin firewire.

I also have the problem where it will work fine for a while, but after a while there is popping in the line. Not all of the lines, just some. I believe the popping has only been on the 2nd firepod, the one that is not connected directly to the PC/MAC.

Toyed with the idea of using a desktop with a 5 firewire port PCI card and connecting the two firepods directly to the PC, but I haven't done that yet. Anyone have any similar experiences or knowledge, please share. Thanks.
