DigiDesigns ProTools Free 5.0.1 on my iMac with Line 6 POD

I just started learning digital recording on my iMac. I am using DigiDesign's Pro Tools Free with OMS. I run my guitar through the POD into the built-in 1/8" sound jack via RadioShack mono/stereo adaptors. There's a delay between when I play & when I hear it come out of my computer. How do I adjust this so they synch up right?

This is a natural delay that occurs through your sound cord. To avoid it while tracking monitor through a mixer connected pre your sound card. This is the only way. Short of buying protools pro TDM http://www.audioforums.com/forums/smile.gif
