OK, so I just purchased a Seagate 300GB 16MB cache SATA drive, WooHoo!
My current thinking is to use it as my audio capture device, and my old second drive WD ata100 80GB, as my samples drive. Not sure if this is the best way to go with my current equipment.
Also, I use Mackie Tracktion as my music app. It has a page where you can specify what file you want to use as a temp file, where should I put that with my current setup, right now it's on the SATA.
I will eventually add another SATA drive, so when I do, how would everything change?
