Best Midi Controller?

Hi! im new here...ran across this site from a google search.

im looking to buy a new midi controller for use with Reason 2.5, Ableton, and Rebirth. As of this time, i have my eyes on an Evolution UC-33.

Im not sure how this controller rates though with the software id like to use it with...i cant find any reviews.

does anyone use this? any idea if one midi controller can be used with another? i currently use an oxygen 8...

How much control are you looking for? I just posted a review of the Novation ReMOTE 25 SL which IMO beats most others hands down - especially using it with Reason (needs to be version 3) and Ableton.

i will check out your review. im thinking that its a little out of my price range though.
