Im used to use FL Studio but a friend showed me REASON. I found it more complicated than FL studio, but the sounds in REASOn are amazing and more realistic than that in FL studio.
The only problem is that it doesnt seem to pick up the right keys on my keyboards and none of the songs i play sound right since the notes are wrong.
i have a miniman 61 key usb keystation midi controller. I know its old, but it works.
Im assuming reason doesn't know how many keys it has which is why the notes and everything are off. Could someone please tell me how to fix this?
thanks

Wish I could help but I've never ran into that problem. I use a 25 key USB MIDI controller and it plays all the octaves correctly. I also use my triton VIA MIDI connection and it plays correctly. How are your MIDI settings set-up? Does Reason recognize your MIDI controller? How does your MIDI controller connect to your computer? USB or through a MIDI interface?

it connects VIA USB. I don't remember how i originally set it up in Reason, but i believe i just selected it as the midi controller. All the sounds sound right in fl studio and other programs though.

Yeah, not really sure what it could be. If you've got the MIDI controller selected in the MIDI preferences, it should be working. What version of Reason do you have???

That happens to me all the time, i use a M-Audio 02 keyboard which hasnt got many keys. What i do is just click my program button 5 times, and it seems to just work. Try to play around with the buttons on your keyboard and see if that helps
