any fostex vm200/vr800 users out there?

am curious about vm200 digimixer and vr800
digirecorder setup if anyone has one. fairly good reveiw in sos, but would like users point of view?

I just got the VM200. It seems to work pretty much as advertised. I am an amateur, and I found most things fairly easy to understand and use. My very first project (re-record a stereion DAT tape) gave quite pleasand and professional sounding results.

The one thing the setup is missing is a compressor. I am considering an FNC (www.fmraudio.com).
