Quick Intro and Question...

Hey all, New Member.

Just got into the Firebox and getting things setup. Have one question though... I am unable to get my recorded tracks to play through the standard sound system in the machine. Using the included Cubase. Is there a setting I am missing? Or can this even be done? Standard XP Pro SP2. Onboard Sound card hooked to a surround sound Bose speaker system. Thoughts?

If you're playing the tracks you've recorded from within Cubase LE, you'll need to connect your speakers to the Firebox output. Once you've bounced your tracks to a single interleave .wav or .aiff file, you can play them from within Media Player, iTunes, etc using your internal souncard's outputs. Please note, however, that the Firebox can be used instead of your internal soundcard for any audio application on you computer. You simply need to enable it as the default device for sound playback in the sound control panel (PC) or in your System Preferences (MAC)
