problem with interface

Hi, I have an M Audio fast track. I pluged a bass guitar in to the back, but when I open nuendo or cubase, I only get signal on the right side, how do I get it on both? I need to record a bass in stereo.

No, you just need to toss the other empty channel and pan the remaining one to the center.

Any audio editor will do it. Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) is FREE.

Next time, set your track to record mono....
