Just going about my business, I saw two Firepods in unexpected places over the weekend...

The first was in the FOH rack at a Third Day / David Crowder Band concert. I couldn't tell you exactly what they were using it for because the FOH guy was on a coffee break at the time, only that only the first two channels were plugged in.

The second was on an episode of Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel (love that show - I'm a geek). They had it plugged into Grant's laptop recording the sound of an approaching army (supposedly) through vibrations transmitted through the ground.

It's one of the greatest things about working for a manufacturer - to see all of the different ways our products are used by different people.

I talked to a customer who is installing Firepods into courtrooms for recording hearings! So the next time you are trying to dispute that traffic ticket, your voice might be captured by PreSonus in beautiful 24bit splendor!! :p

Yeah, I talked to a Hospital in VA. who was using FirePods to record surgeons during operations.

PreSonus being used in the hospital industry.....who knew?!
