Hi,

I have a 'microtrack 24/96' and need to do some recording using two micro Sennheiser condenser mics that require 12-48v phantom power. The mics are terminated with XLR plugs.
As the microtrack can supply 48v through its TRS/Jack sockets, I'd like to use these. I have found plenty of info on how to wire up XLR connectors for ph-power, but nothing usefull for TRS's. Can someone help? I need to make up an adaptor/cable.

Thanks,
Hutch

You can purchase a TRS to XLR cable at most of your local music retailers. They should work fine.

Thanks David, I need to make incredibly short cables though, so was looking for a wiring diagram. I guess I could have bought 2 long ones and cut them short. I did find a diagram eventually (google always provides if one is patient enough right?) and here is a link to it for anyone else that searches here for the same info in the future:
