Welcome to the new gear reviews forum. To make this forum as useful as possible, here are a few guidelines which will be enforced. We want this to be an organized, concise collection of helpful reviews, not a free-for-all discussion of all things audio. We've got plenty of forums for that already.
So with that goal in mind, here are the rules and regulations of the Gear Reviews Forum:
1) This forum is for reviews only. If you create a new thread and it's NOT a review (asking a question, for example), expect it to be either moved to another forum or deleted.
2) Only post a review if you have actual experience with the gear in question. Either you own it, have worked with it, or in some other way have detailed knowledge about how well it performs.
3) Reviews should be detailed. I don't really want to give a minimum number of words required, but if it's not at least a few paragraphs, it's not a review. It may be helpful for you to write and edit the review in a word processor on your computer, then copy and paste it into a post.
4) Be sure to tell us what you liked and didn't like about the gear. Glowing reviews that are all-positive are okay if you're really that enthusiastic about your experience, but a balanced review with good and bad points can sometimes be more helpful. Feel free to compare it to similar competing products if you have knowledge of them, as well. Also, be prepared to answer questions about your review from other forum members.
5) You can respond to reviews posted by others (just use the reply button). Don't create a new thread (see rule #1).
6) Anything used for audio or music production is fair game - studio gear, live sound gear, software, instruments, whatever.
7) Include the manufacturer name and the product name in the title of your thread. "PreSonus EUREKA review" is perfectly acceptable. "My Bitchin' Preamp" is not.
That about covers it. I'll get the ball rolling by posting a review or two from Sweetwater. Thanks for contributing!

After you've posted your review here, you can also put it up over on my website, theaudiodude.com (http://www.theaudiodude.com) and earn yourself a $5 discount from Sweetwater for every review you post!
