Alesis Fireport 1394

Hi There,
I have just purchased an Alesis fireport for the Alesis HD24, I have a problem uploading the software on my computer, Every time I run the install I get an error 1628, '' Failed to complete installation ''. I have looked on the alesis web-site, and can see nothing there. Can anybody please help me with this problem. Thanks.

My bet is that you'll have to cal l tech support to get to the bottom of this. They'll be able to tell you what that error code means. If you bought it from Sweetwater, give our tech support guys a call at 1-800-222-4700, ext. 6400.

Otherwise, you'll have to call Alesis on Monday at 401-658-5760.
