Axiom 61 - note playing intermittently - hw prob?

Hi there,

I brought a brand new Axiom 61 today and connected it up to my PC and was playing along happily in protools when I noticed a single note (A2) playing intermittently.

Everything seems to work fine but every so often - its random - a single note will play.

Could there be some weird controller or MidiCC data being sent to protools or is this likely to be a hardware problem.

Any ideas?

I've tracked this errant note down to one of the drumpad triggers. It appears to go off intermittently from time to time. Doh ! Definitely seems like a fault rather than a "feature". Anybody had anything similar happen?

That doesn't sound right.
I can't think of a software fix for that. Sounds like hardware. You could try reducing the sensitivity of the pad, but it shouldn't be doing that. Are you sure something isn't accidentally bumping it? Edge of the laptop?
