Hi all, I have an M-audio 24/96 digital recorder, and I usually use it to record audio for my videos, but I figure I could make use of it to record my DJ mixes through my DJ mixer, so I hook up the RCAs to my Pioneer DJM-600 mixer and the levels are off the wall, and there is nothing I can do to change the levels aside from having the levels at almost an inaudible level which won't work for mixing. I assume the preamp in the mixer is blowing it out. Also, through this mixer, I have the same issue through my computer trying to record also, but I have managed to get it just right but barely, at least I can record, I managed to get the levels so they don't peak on there. Any suggestions? oh, yea, I am not running it through a board of any kind, and I realize this would probably solve the problem, but I don't have the money for that quite yet. B--

sounds like a LINE/MIC issue.

use your line-in inputs, not the microphone IN
your sending a line level signal to a mic-level input.

see if that helps.

You were far too late for the 33.3 sec timing limit and too premature for the 333 second one. Your second post did you no good at all.
