I purchased a Firepod yesterday. I have (4 ) Audio technica U101's that I want to capture audio from through the fire pod. I currently use (2) M-Audio Microtracks which sound perfect. when I plug one of my wireless into the firepod in order to get the audio level up to an acceptable recording level, the gain on the firepod needs to be crancked way up, while recording with the microtracks, I only need to turn up the "output" on my wireless receiver to about "3" to record good audio. When using the firepod, I need to increase both and it does not sound nearly as clean as the microtrack, you can clearly tell that there is a huge difference. I used xlr on input #1 and tried input #3, it just does not sound nearly as clear as the microtracks, I would love for this to work as I want to add more mics later, I have the most current firmware and I tested it hooked up and disconnected from the computer, used different cables etc. Any clue why it would not be as good, I normally have a rich full sound.
Thanks
