M-audio Audiophile 192 s/pdif bug?

Seems that Audiophile 192 have an SPDIF bug, this is a link to a discusion already in progres about this bug in another forum, if it's needed i can copy/paste the main information from there.

2 Questions:

1. Is it a hardware problem?
2. If it's a driver problem then when will it be fixed.
