Project Mix I/O with Live

I recently bought the bundled version of Project Mix I/O with Ableton Live.
Every time that i am trying to start Live 4 things may happen : 1. Live will not start at all and i am getting the message that says "The Program has quit unexceptably"(or something like this).
2. Live will crash in the meantime of the project.
3. After i am quiting Live i am getting a:: "The program has quitted unexp...."
4. The system will freeze and i have to force it to restart.
I am on a G5 Dual 2.0 Ghz 1.5 Gb Ram.

Can anybody help me?

What OS version are you using? (If its 10.4.7, the Projectmix driver makes things go weird, as the driver is only good up to 10.4.6 at this point)
