help with firewire 410

hi i have just brought a m-audio firewire 410 interface and i am woundering how i can record from my dj mixer to the computer through the interface. do i have to go from the master output of the mixer to the input on the interface. any advice will be really helpfull

You've got it. The easiest thing to do would be to connect the MAIN out of your DJ mixer to the analog inputs on the back of the 410.

Keep in mind, the 410 has 4 analog inputs, but only 2 simultaneous analog record busses. That means you can't record from the front and back inputs simultaneously. Only one or the other.

So, connect to the back and be sure to set the button on the front of the 410 for line level, which is the back inputs.
