I will be getting a Delta1010 soon I'm using a mix of midi and audio and I just want to know how do I route separate channels in cubase. Will cubase give me the option of assigning outputs for each track? For Instance, Track 1 on cubase is a Audio drumloop, Track 2 on cubase is a audio vocal, track 3 is a audio whatever....How do I route the audio to my mixing board so I can EQ all the sounds separate. I know how to route the midi signals with the midi interface, does the sond card work on a similar principal.

This varies by program. Some will see only stereo pairs, some will treat each channel as a separate track.

Yep - the 1010's output will show up as 8 analog channels and stereo Spdif in cubase. Just select your outputs per channel and you'll be set.

You may actually have to "turn on" the outputs in Cubase. I think it's under VST OUTPUTS. Check your manual to be sure.

Cool thanks, I just want to make sure that I am getting the right card for what I want to do.
