You may have noticed the PreSonus forum that was added yesterday. This is the first of (hopefully) several new manufacturer forums that will come on line.
My hope for the manufacturer forums is to have at least one official representative from each manufacturer act as a host on their respective forums. They'll be notified of each and every post, and will be able to jump in and respond to answer support questions.
Please take advantage of this resource! You'll have a direct line to one of the top guys within each organization. If you have any questions about their products, whether they are pre-sales type questions or tech support, please ask. We'll make sure they get answered.
And please, if you have any manufacturers that you really want to see represented here, please let me know and I'll get in touch with them.

M-Audio Forum. It would be great if we got a rep from M-Audio to show up once and while.

Yeah, an M-Audio one would be ace.

Yes, M-audio is a very popular card, one worthy of it's own thread. E-MU would be another and ICHI from E-MU may be persuaded to visit....I could ask him if there's interest.

I think with M-Audio's broad line of recording equipment that they offer the company deserves to have its own forum, right here....right now.
Another company that sells worldwide is Alesis...anybody heard of them? Just kidding, I know you have, everyone has. I use a couple of Alesis top of the line gear in my studio, and just because it isn't a computer s/w program (it may have a chip in there) I still think the HD24 has recognition coming, btw speakers, mixers, etc. But I am an ol' dawg:cool:

I didn't list M-Audio in the poll above because I've secretly been working on such a forum already. It's there now - go check it out. I'll be moving some M-Audio related threads from other forums to that one shortly.

i think it sucks that Aardvark is no longer in business.
I love their interface.
I think i am the only one here that uses Aardvark, but it would be cool to have an Aardvark forum.

I wanted an Aardvark... but they folded. I feel... pain.
I noticed a manufacturer specific forum dedicated strictly to Propellorhead's "Reason" software.. What do you think about including "Ableton", which seems to have gathered quite a bit of momentum with djays and other budding musos..

I'm a happy Q10 user, myself. I wish I had another one (or more).

I like(d) the Aardvark interfaces a lot myself, especially the Q10. I still have a USB-3 that I use with my laptop from time to time. It was the very first class-complient (no drivers required) USB audio interface on the market, if I'm not mistaken.
I don't think there's too much demand for an Aardvark forum, though. I don't know of many Aardvark users, and I'm not sure how much help we could offer them anyways. Most of those threads would probably be better off in the sound cards / audio interfaces forum.

I agree, Jeff.
There probably isn't much demand for a dedicated forum for Aardvark. Honestly, mine has been so trouble free, I haven't needed support for it.
Another obscure I/O that I have is the Gadget Labs Wave/8-24. Its a shame that they went out of business long before winXP. Its been a while since I checked in, but I'm hoping that the community-built XP driver will be up to par someday. I still use it on my live sound rig running win98 and am quite happy with it.
