The return of Pink Floyd.

I could stand to hear a little more bass guitar and more kick punch.

DC what are you listening on?
as I mixed this at almost maxed low z for the bass,
as well as compressed the bass drum to 2.o hard knee.
It should sound level at flat settings, but once you dial the 'tone' knobs, it should fatten up, I had hoped, perhaps, I screwed up AGAIN. Damn this mixin stuff is more trouble than it is worth....
maybe I should just let a real engineer do this stuff

Its the bassist in me, lol! :D
Listening on old passive KRKs.

Now that I think about it... its probably my new back wall - 4 inches of insulation! I might not be used to hearing the bass in this environment, I might be sitting in a hole that wan't there before.

Here's a graph of the song, notice the hole at about 180hz
http://www.cebrowski.org/images/bopsgraph.gif

Yes, there is a lot of activity at 76hz to 43hz, my KRKs start rolling off at about 70hz and claim to only go down to about 40hz, but 50 seems more like it.
