Hi everyboby. This is my first post.I want to record 8 tracks thru Spirit FX16 directouts to Delta 1010. I intend to use the first 8 Direct (1-8)out to go to my card inputs. What i want to know is :should I patch all 8 OUTPUTS from 1010 back to the Mixer and use AUX to patch to the Behringer HPhone amp HA 8000 for monitoring. Or should I just create 1 BUSS in Cubase Sx2 L/R and use only 2 Outputs from Delta. The other question is if I patch the 8 outputs to channel 9-16 of the FX16(mixer) i intended to aux them . I've got three AUX(1,2.3). How should i patch the AUX to my headfone amp to get Hfone out for our musicians. Should I also create four BUSSES (output) in Cubase for the 8 outputs?

Pentium 4 1.7 GHz, 1GB RAM, Delta 1010, Spirit FX16, Behringer HA 8000, WinXP SP2, HDisk recording

When I used to have a 1010, I took 8 channels in from the Direct Outs and then used outputs 1/2 back to a stereo channel on my mixer for the monitors and then 3/4 directly to the HA4700 headphone mixer. I set up SX's mixer so that send 8 was pre fader to a "headphone" Group channel which routed out to delta 3/4.

Thank u DCWAVE. good idea. But i wanted to know if only one OUTPUT BUSS or more is needed in my sequencer (Cubase SX2). I guess it would be two i.e 1 for the 1/2 OUT and another for the 3/4 OUT but I am not sure coz its the first time I am doing this.

I would set up two at least.
