If ya'll don't care, could I get a little critique on a song of mine? The song is nowhere close to finished...needs vocals re-done and I need to find a drummer and kill the drum machine.. Thanks in advance!:D

Not really my kind of music, but the mixing sounds really good.

I was wondering that myself...but figured the newest would be the one on top. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I don't listen to Country, so I'm not sure of the subtleties of what it should sound like.

Thanks for the listen.....and I know what you mean....I listened to a lot of the samples on your website and liked it, just not experienced or exposed enough to even have a conversation about it. BTW.......like your studio and the sounds you are getting out of it!:D

hey snuggs I had a listen to "This Damn Motel" the song and it sounded pretty good except, ya knew it was coming didn't ya lol :) First off I record country bands, rock bands, fusion and contemporary Christian, so I get alot of genres coming in here, I am just finishing up a country CD for a guy I've know for 15 years, a country artist and am in finals on him haha. I love all kinds of music, but I consider myself a rocker! I liked your song, I liked how the organ takes over the chorus and the slide comes in at the end, although the left and right sides don't balance out real good, could be, might be my sony headphones, but i don't think so, also sometimes the vocal (words) get vague and i couldn't understand what the vocalist was saying... mostly good stuff, a few tweeks, eq and better balance is all I got to offer...btw way did I mention I can't hear outta my left ear huh?what? Keep up the good work:D

Thanks for the input, and as I mentioned in the first post, this is far from being done.....just thowin' it around to see if it sticks to anything. Mostly just trying to sharpen my writing skills. Thanks again!!!:D

Nice song and vocalist is just right for the song. I might back the verb back a little or use a shorter verb. The really nice tone of the vocalist gets a little lost at times. But other wise I like the song. The two pianos is interesting.

Personally I think that the layed back timing of the drums sometimes makes it sound like the rest of the instruments are rushing the song. But if it doesn't bother anybody else I guess there's no need to worry about that :)

I like thissss :) I'd just turn the percussion down a tiny bit and make them more background than foreground..

but I like the overall composition.. :D
