man that sux, I have firewire solo by m-audio and I have used cubase LE with it. It sounds like compatability problems atleast you didn't have to pay for the software though, I know a lot of times that comes bundled with hardware (so Im assuming that's the case). you might want to re-check your configuration if that's not the problem you can call sweetwater and they'll help you out. I always talk to this guy named Mark bruhn 1800-222-4700 ext 1316. He's always a big help when you have any problems.
