Hi every body

I want to know which choice is better for me. I am in doubt about the quality of the sound. Actually I use a lot of tracks and sounds in my recording and the problem of noise usually appears as you increase the number of tracks.

I want to buy a new keyoard but one friend told me that I could use a virtaul instruments software instead of using a keybord.

The point is with the keyboard I will record every sound through the audio interface so it will carry a percintage of noise with it. But with the software I have the sound inside the computer.

I was looking to buy the Korg Pa1XPro or even the Oasys and as you know these keyboard are really professional so ....

could you help me ?

saihateen, I've found myself asking this same question and it's a good subject to bring up, there are probably alot more experienced keyboardist here to answer your question, seeing as how I just use keyboard to augment a clients' compositions in my studio (i play guitar). keyboard controllers weigh less and are more portable, but there is the sound modules and samplers to take into consideration, if you use a computer which is what i think you are talking about then buying software is another consideration, but you do have alot of choices. myself, in the studio, i like a dedicated keyboard from a specific manufacturer, although limited to their specific sound texture the live performance is always what I shoot for, along with the added noise, after all music is noise and isloating an istrument inside the can removes all room ambience (i know you can buy room ambience lol) or run direct. anyway...just my 2 cents, I'd go for the Oasys ...wow.
