FPC in Fruity Loops 5

anybody use this? I read up on it and I know how everything works EXCEPT how to record a loop using it. I know how to load the pads and edit the wavs and what not, but I need to know how to record a loop. Anyone familiar with this?

Right click on the FPC channel and select piano roll. Creating loops with the piano roll is the way I do it.
