fruity loop freeze

soon after i open the program and start playing the midi, my comp will freeze up. anyone know why?

We need more info....ie. make/model of computer, soundcard, Apps. you may have running(anti-virus, messenger, etc.)

what about when you run the program without running midi? If it works without the midi then it's probably the midi device or the sound card.. more than likely the sound card. If it freezes without the midi device as well, then I would suggest re-installing the software.
