Hello I am trying to get some information to set up for editing music on a PC.

I would like to have some recommendations for Sound Cards

I will be using it for the following:

I am the Entertainment Director at a Resort in Venezuela....
We do shows and musicals with dancing and singing.
What I need is a PC which will allow me to edit music, remove voice tracks (so as to be able to sing the songs live), splice songs, speed up and slow down tempo, add effects...etc.
As far as the equipment, we use Mini-Disc equipment in our theatre (for now, I am trying to convince the boss to computerize, but things are a little behind the times here) so I need to be able to record from PC to Mini Disc and vice versa.

Anyway guys, I know that there are lots of experts here, so any help would be appreciated as I have to then pass this along to my sound guy in Spanish, who is not very computer literate!

Thanks!!!

Are you looking to remove vocals from mixed and processed final recordings? Due to the complexity of many music and audio tracks, removing vocals will result in a fairly poor or useless product.

:) AnalogX vocal remover... But most Backtracks will sound thin .. Especially on mid-range .. Guits and so forth.. Best thing is to buy midi back tracks ..zap em with hypersonic and walla... You'll feel better also.. Adios from Jbay South Africa
