We are looking to automate converting our IVR voice files which are in a wave format to vox files for listening via the internet. Anyone know of any solution?? NMS have a manual solution and there is software that can be done in batches but we are looking to convert on the fly. John Calveley

I work with NMS boards every day (Predictive Dialer/Broadcast messaging). I believe we are using the original Cool Edit. I will check with our dialogue guy to see how he's converting to the NMS vox files tomorrow.

What is your product? Maybe there are some vendor partnering that can take place.

Hi Dave, our rental accommodation service is basically web based but callers have an option to leave a voice message as well. To listen they currently have to dial the IVR and it would be easier to listen while viewing the website. John Calveley

John,
I found out that we are only using Cool Edit for final editing before we convert to the NMS Vox format. We have written our own utility based on the NMS converter for converting the files. Unfortunatly that doesn't help you. We have had a very tight relationship with NMS for many years and have probably been given some APIs that are not usually available. Sorry I could not be of more assitance.
