i have alesis qs8 as controller,it has 3 midi sockets,in out thru
one P4,winXP with scope card,i connect it to this pc with no problem but i also have anothe celeron with DMX6fire card
and loads of samples on this one
i used to connect these 2 cards via spdif to no success
so i wanna try midi but still wonder how to do it

Can i connect alesis in-out to in-out of scope then
connect alesis with celeron via thru >in of celeron, then the DMX midiout is not connected?
thnx

Not sure what you are trying to do exactly...

Are wanting to use the controller to trigger samples on the 2nd PC and have the audio output sent to the 1st PC? Or are you wanting to have the 1st PC trigger the samples on the 2nd PC?

i want to use celeron as extra soundmodule
i also got mackie mixer
and i rout QS into 2 channels of mackie b4 scope
i wanna route celeron into another 2 channels and have both
sequencers in sync so in one song i can have all tracks from all sources
i tried this combination
from qs out> in of scope , out of scope > in of celeron but it didn't work
thnx for your time
