clicks in fruity loops with absynth

hey guys. I'm a noob to this forum so hello all!

I've just started playing around with fruity loops and absynth, and im noticing clicks every now an then in the sound thats produced. I tend to only hear them in fruity loops, and not when the app is being run as a standalone.

the cpu usage is under 25%, and im running a dual xeon 2.4ghz with 2gb ram and a sound blaster live.

does anyone know what the cause might be?

Are the files coming from a USB source?, eg: external hard drive?
Did you try updating Blaster drivers to soundblaster ASIO drivers?
May not solve the problem, just ideas..

actually it happens with just synths. no samples off hard drives.

i just had a look at the creative site, and i cant see any soundblaster live asio drivers, are they found somewhere else?
