serial numbers

Is there a way to get the serial or registration numbers from software that is installed.

I tried Belarc and Lavalys but they only show the microsoft stuff.

Any help would be great

Somtimes, serial numbers can be shown if you go the 'register' info, or to the 'help' info, or to the 'about' info inside the application.
Other times, it comes printed on sime card, or on some dongle.

For instance, I bought Logic, it came with a dongle and 10 serial numbers (10 times the same number printed on a sticker, so you can put that sticker on the manual, on the dongle or whatever.
Logic also shows the serial during starting up.

I have no idea what or who Belarc and Lavalys is/are, would you care to inform me?

There is also or used to be a little program called "pc info" at about $29 usd that logs just about everything on the machine.
