Hello guys. I need help from you. Actually i dont know if it is a problem or not. I have 3 computers in my house. In my pc, when i listen music, i noticed that some voices are coming from right and other ones from left. And also the volume level of right speaker is a little higher then the left one. First, i thought that it is problem caused by AC3 filter but i noticed the same problem in my Laptop also. But my mother' s computer' s speakers are fine. Same voices and same level of volume from both speakers. I dont want 3d sound or stuff like that. I just want to hear same things from both speakers. Can you suggest any software or something to balance sounds? Thanks for any help

If it is a balance problem; simply go to the software mixer (the windows sound mixer, playback settings) and adjust the balance slider for either the 'wave' or the 'master'
Save this setting as the standard setting.

Above, I said; 'If it is', cause, maybe the plugs are a bit dirty, or maybe the source material wasn't totally in balance; have you tested all 3 computers with the exact same song?

Yes. Bryan Adams "Back to you" :). Actually it is not a balance problem because on every song the balance is different. Sometimes nearly all sound coming from right. But some songs are ok, no balance problem. I dont understand why this is not a common problem. I have it on 2 computers. Ýs this a coincidence?

Maybe the connectors are dirty or a bit loose?
I've seen my domestic cat pushing (with its head) to the connectors, noticing a (permanent) shift in the balance.

Both the sound balance, and my mental balance :(

Dude it's a sign from god...you are not supposed to play any Bryan Adams in the house. Put on some Steely Dan and balance out your systems :)

LOL@Sonic... :D

BTW... it could be a currupted driver or something... downloading new drivers for the sound card and checking would be worthwhile...

This sort of problem can also occur if a kinda 'spatial stereo' is enabled. Other names for it are '3D', 'stereo surround', 'advanced stereo' or somethin' like that.
