G4 + Delta1010 + Digital Performer

I was wondering.

Has anyone had any experience using a G4 with a Midiman delta 1010 Sound card using Digital Performer?

Is the performance of these products together work well? Or is there another sound card I should consider?

If you have about $600 to spend then go with Motu 2408 or 828 which will work better then Delta.

The Delta 1010 with Emagic Logic Audio Platinum works flawlessly. Thats with the ASIO driver, so if MOTU has good ASIO implementation in DP, it should be fine. The Delta _sounds_ great, btw.

Directly comparing the Motu 2408 or 828 wiht the Delta 1010, which would be better?

I already own DP 3.0...... (so there's no changes in that)

MoTU is reputable, and also M-audio.......

any comparisons?

No comparison there. Buy 828 or 2408 II, if you're planning to use DP3 - their drivers are designed to work flawlessly with DP3
