how to import external instruments

Hey,

I just downloaded some freeware DXTi and VSt's...but i can't figure out how to import them into fruityloops so i can 'add' them into a channel. I see the list in the menu of ones that come with FL, but how do you put new ones in there??

first, put the new plugs in your plugin folder (in fl folders). go to your harddrive, open up program files, open up fruity loops and then open the plug in folder and add the plugins.

Open FL - go to "add channel" up at the top. then click "more" in the drop down box. scroll down to where it says search for more plugs... then the next time you open "add channel" the new plugs will be there

the demo version must not have the plugin folder...cause it's not in the folder structure when i open my fruityloops folder.

is this true? and if not..maybe i need to download a new one... ? ?

that would probably make sense. the demo doesn't allow you to save anything right? Then it wouldn't let you add any outside plugins.

make sure you download it from the fruityloops site - that way you get free updates without haviing to pay an extra fee
