I am going to be purchasing a Tascam US-122 USB Interface pretty soon. I will be using this to record vocals and guitar to my PC. Gu

I am also considering buying a drum machine (I havent decided which one yet). The best one within my budget seems to be the Boss DR-3 Dr. Rhythm. Anyone have any experience with this machine?

Anyway, my question is this. If I purchase a drum machine such as the DR-3, can I record drum tracks I create to my PC *through* the Tascam US-122 and edit/mix them in my software? If not, how can get the drum tracks from the drum machine onto my PC for mixing with guitar/vocals/etc in my editing software. I really dont know how to do this just wanna make sure I will be able get the drum patrches onto my PC through the Tascam before I buy a drum machine.

the Boss DR-3 has
Output Jack: L, R (RCA Phono type), L(PHONES), R(MONO) (1/4-inch phone type) connectors,
this tells me that the signals that are sent from the drum machine are analogue. so there would not be a problem with the drum machine working with the us-122.
just plug your drum machine into the us-122 using standard RCA cables.

The Dr-3.....is a fine piece of equipment, easy to use and has some really good sounds(except for the bass) Just plug in and record!
