M-Audio Firewire Audiophile can this be used with DXI (cake walk) ,Project, and reason with no latency (with lets say an oxygen 8 connected to it?)

any help would be great thanks

Absolutely, but it also depends on the
power and configuration of your PC.
Using the latest ASIO drivers with a
decent PC, should give a low latency.

yeah my pc is pretty good
p4 2.53ghz
2gig ram
160 hd in a raid setup (2 80 gig drives both 7200rpm)
and that firewire setup when i get it.

Wow, you've got a lot of horsepower.
You should have no problem with latency with the 2496 Audiophile. BTW, I have the
same card on a 1GHz with 512MB ram.
