G3/need suggestions narration equipment

Any suggestions on a good mic and USB or firewire audio recording setup for voice-over imput into my videos? I'm not using this for hardcore mixing just plain and simple voice-overs with music background. The finished video has got to be broadcast level. Any suggestions?

The Roland UA-30 and something like an Audio Technica 4055 with a good mic preamp should do you just fine. The UA-30 runs about $250, The 4055 about $500 (?) and a good mic pre about $200.

Of course, there are cheaper possibilities, but you didn't state your price range, so...
