Hello,
I posted this message on the plugins thread, but then realized it makes more sense over here:
I'm in the process of getting around to buying Fruity Loops.
It has a loop slicing tool in it called "Fruity Slicer" or something like that.
Is it any good?
I just need it to slice the drum loop into the hits and assign each hit to a basic midi keyboard key like c,d,e,f,g.
I just need the basics, but the basics need to work well (nothing clunky or lame).
I'm trying to save some money right now, but it looks like there are no free loop slicing tools. So if Fruity Slicer does the job, it looks like I'll have to break my "software diet" and get Fruityloops now instead of in a few months.
Thanks for any insights.
