I have recently upgraded my movie watching experience at home and I have to say, the 5th Element (in Superbit) is quite impressive. Alien, Jurassic Park are others (my collection of DVDs is small) that rule in the sound department. I am curious as to how many forum users pay attention to the audio production of DVDs. What do you suggest as a top line produced dvd for it's audio contributions???

I'd start with Peter Gabriel's "Growing Up" Live DVD. If you've got a good DVD-A system with video, this should drop-kick you right into some truly amazing stuff; visually AND aurally.

Another good one to let you experience surround & good music is Sony Pictures: "Immortal Beloved." Gorgeous photography and wonderfully recorded Beethoven, esp the final scenes.

I'm sure there's plenty of others....
