recording audio in Fruity Loops

Hello,

I'm having fun with the Fruity Loops demo. I'm wondering if you can record a live vocal in from your soundcard into Fruity Loops.

I read the help guide, which talks about wav files. But it doesn't talk about setting up a live audio track, hitting record, listening back, etc.

I'm hoping you can do this! Then this program would be all that I need.

I just started reading through the Fruity Loops manual from their website. If anybody has recorded live audio into FL, I'd love to see what your experiences have been like.

Hey, I'd like to hear about that, too. Is this similar to the Acid stuff? I'm looking into something for throwing tunes, grooves, etc together in a real simple format, but not getting into MIDI.
