Im having problems wit adobe audition, im on a budget with my "equipment", I have a dynamic studio microphone, but the problem is when I record my vocals along wit the track that's playing in multi-track mode my vocals don't come out loud enough,
the track is louder than my vocals and I get bumped from the song, is there a way for me to have my vocals to have that control over the track im recording with, without stressing the volume bars to a higher pich?

I believe you can set the volume levels with the Windows Mixer. If the microphone is maxed out (not unlikely with a dynamic) you may need to re-record the backing track(s) at a lower level.
You can also adjust the relative levels for playback and mixdown in the Multitrack View; rightclick on the Vol button to the left of each track and push the slider up or down.

Are you using a standard audio card with a mic input or something, or is it a sound card made for recording?
If your using a standard stereo sound card with a mic input, the microphone gain may be low.
Like lpdeluxe suggested that may be as loud as it will get without more adjustments in the windows mixer. Often if noise is kept low enough, you can record at a pretty low volume and boost it after to get the level you'll need. You may have to gate the noise with a high frequency filter after though.
best of luck.

Do you own the Apex 420? I did for a while it's a decent workhorse mike for the money.
Best of luck in your recording.
