ive been recording using an akai dps16 for a couple of years but ive just ordered a new p.c to start recording that way,i know there are loads of different choices but i need advice on the following;i,ve looked at the cubase system2,it seems to provide what i need as i still want to use "real"synths as well as soft synths,but as it is cheaper than the system 4 version does this make the sound quality less also?i already have a version of cakewalk sonar but ive no idea how to use it,would it be better buying a quality audio interface and mastering sonar,buying system 2 or buying system 4 and purchasing soft synths seperate..help!
